Terms of Service
By commissioning Spicy Bard JJ, you agree to the following terms:Spicy Bard JJ retains the right to refuse any commission upfront.Payment: 50% of the final cost is to be paid up front at the sketch stage, with the remaining 50% cost paid in full upon completion. With receipt of payment of the final 50%, the final artwork will be delivered to you.Reasonable Revisions: Spicy Bard JJ will always do her very best to revise character and artwork details to the standard of the examples provided on her commissions page, but retains the right to refuse excessive revisions.(Examples: Acceptable-- "Can you make the eyes blue not red?"
Right to refuse-- "Can you make the eyes red?" Sure. "No, actually green?" Okay. "No, actually black? And can you give them 10 eyes?")Cancellation: The commission can be cancelled by any reason by either party after the sketch stage, and Spicy Bard JJ will retain the deposit. Once the Full Artwork draft is sent, Spicy Bard JJ will work with you to revise details (see Reasonable Revisions), but if you wave giving feedback and revisions, the final 50% will still be owed to Spicy Bard JJ.Credit, Reposting & Watermarks: The artwork may not be posted online without express permission from Spicy Bard JJ. Credit must be given to Spicy Bard JJ when posting the artwork online and must retain the artist's watermark/signature, uncropped, removed or unaltered.Spicy Bard JJ will also post the commissioned artwork on her socials and portfolio/blog, unless you ask otherwise.Rights and Licensing: The artwork as purchased, is owned by you but Spicy Bard JJ retains the licensing of original artwork. Commercial use and editing of the artwork is not permitted unless previously agreed upon. You may also not reproduce, license or sell the artwork. You may print the artwork for personal display (such as for displaying the artwork in your home), but not for clothing or personal merchandise.NFTS/Crypto/Blockchain/AI Policy: The artwork is not permitted for use in for NFTS or other blockchain/crypto spheres. The artwork is not permitted for data scraping or reference/use in AI generated content.
